Diana Adamaite's exhibition "Frequencies in Space" at the Art Station "Dubulti"
- 28.February - 4.May
- Dubulti
Diana Adamaite's exhibition "Frequencies in Space" raises the question of the nature of her work. The figures in her paintings are not realistically sensual, but rather elegant and free, resembling mystical expressionism. Her works, made up of colorful fields and figures that move and transform, reflect the living reality of art. The artist uses ignorance to paint – this opens the way to new, mysterious discoveries.
Curated by Inga Šteimane.
Exhibition "1+1+1=1" at Jūrmala Museum

The exhibition "1+1+1=1" Sloka + Ķemeri + Riga Jurmala District = Jurmala is dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the city of Jurmala.
We consider 11 November 1959 to be the birthday of Jūrmala, when the city of Jūrmala was founded by merging the Jūrmala district of Riga, Slokas and Ķemeri. In celebration of the 65th anniversary of the City of Jurmala, the exhibition focuses on the period after the Second World War and before the founding of Jurmala, from 1944 to the early 1960s. The main idea of the exhibition is to provide an insight into the pre- and post-unification period and to find out how the lives of the inhabitants were affected after the founding of Latvia's largest resort town.
