Opening of the exhibition "The Beautiful in the Ugly and the Ugly in the Seemingly Beautiful" by the outstanding Swedish photographer Lars Thunbjerk (1956-2015).
Swedish ambassador to Latvia Kārina Höglund, Swedish curator Love Jönsson, Swedish photographer and L. Tūnbjerk's spouse Moda Nikander, as well as Latvian photographer Inta Ruka, who had a long creative friendship with Lars Tūnbjerk, will take part in the unveiling.
For the first time in Latvia, Lars Tūnbjerk's photo series Latvia, Karosta (1996), I love Borås! (1988–1995) and The Office (1994–1999).
The exhibition is open every day from October 25 to January 26 from 9.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. Application for excursions: dubulti.art.station@gmail.com.
