Walking along the sea Vaivari-Lielupe

Step by step, everyone is invited to join the SOĻO GAR JŪRU hiking adventure programme!

We have a great treasure nearby - the seacoast, which is walkable and reaches almost 500km! We have cliffs and crags, charming lighthouses, seaside villages and forests, pebbles and rocky beaches.

On 1 February we will set off on our 13th stage and go from Vaivari to Lielupe (25 km). Along the way, the resort town, the wide beach, the Lielupe estuary and the Ragakāpa Nature Park. In the middle of the hike, we will take a break at the Majori station café, where we will eat waffles and drink coffee.

Meet at Vaivari railway station at 9:20 (train from Riga leaves at 8:30).

We will finish the hike at Lielupe railway station.

Route: Vaivari – Lielupe.

Distance: approx. 25 km.

Difficulty: easy.

Pace: fast or 5-6 km/h.

Participation fee: 18 eur.

Participation fee includes: waffle brunch (eat as much as you can!) and coffee at Majori station, support of hike leaders during the day.
