Since 2016, the best Latvian opera singer of all time, mezzo-soprano Elina Garanca, and the Art Forte company have collaborated in the project Elina Garanca and Friends, offering the Dzintari Concert Hall audience delightful concerts with the participation of world stars and promising performers on the cusp of a career. The performances of Dmitri Hvorostovsky, Hibla Gerzmava, Olga Peretyatko, Dmitro Popov, Jonathan Tetelman and Marina Monzo with the Festival Orchestra conducted by Karel Mark Chichon, the artistic director of the project, made a strong impression on the audience. Without a doubt, the concerts of the cycle “Elina Garancha and friends” have become the hallmark of the summer musical season in Jurmala and one of its main decorations.

"Raiņa sēta" is a complex of wooden architectural buildings in Jūrmala, located in Jaundubulti, on Poruka prospect 61. One of the buildings is a summer house built by Rainis and Aspazija in 1904, which in its 115-year long life has met both the creative intelligentsia and Soviet pioneers. At the end of 2019, the restoration of the buildings was completed and the place got its second breath.

The unaccustomed duet of Aija Andrejeva and Jānis Aišpurs sang their own and other authors' compositions in the atmospheric concert "12 stories for a summer evening". "12 stories for a summer evening" are twelve songs from the repertoire of both musicians, which are of special importance in the artists' stage activities and lives - they are musical stories about their childhood, adventures, experiences, pranks, family, traditions, love, friendship and much more.

"Raiņa sēta" is a complex of wooden architectural buildings in Jūrmala, located in Jaundubulti, on Poruka prospect 61. One of the buildings is a summer house built by Rainis and Aspazija in 1904, which in its 115-year long life has met both the creative intelligentsia and Soviet pioneers. At the end of 2019, the restoration of the buildings was completed and the place got its second breath.

Bulduri market will open its doors after extensive renovation works. In the restored market, everyone will be able to see what was done during the reconstruction, as well as taste and buy goods from local merchants.
On the opening day, a wide program of activities is planned - visitors will be greeted by delicious food, games for children, as well as raffles, attractions and music.
The market will sell goods of popular brands such as 10 Hits, Pienaveikals, Hartvik F, ManguMangas, as well as rich products of farmers' self-producers from Z/S Brieži, Z/S Vārpa and delicacies of Georgian cuisine.
Several sales points and parking lots have been created in the market area, including for people with special needs and two electric car charging points.

Every Sunday at 12.00 from Jūrmala Tourist Information Center (Lienes iela 5, Majori) there is an opportunity to join an excursion around the center of Jurmala. For the first time in Latvia, the famous Ukrainian choreographer and director Oļena Koliadenko's ballet "Freedom Ballet" will perform in the Dzintari concert hall with the dance show "SKAPIS".

The legendary Ukrainian ballet "Freedom" recently celebrated its 20th anniversary, and its entire biography would be difficult to fit even in the world's largest book. But the last decade of their incredible journey has been put in… “The Closet”!

"Skapis" is more than a dance performance - it has become the quintessence of the vision of the creative world of "Freedom Ballet" and hides the whole universe of director and director Olena Koliadenko and her indispensable dance theater family.

The "closet" will be opened to you as a "living museum" with very personal stories and specific people. Just you, 14 dancers and their poignant stories. The aim of the dance experiment is to get to know yourself so deeply that you can do without masks. But the main participant in the experiment is still the viewer.

The show is intended for adult viewers, people with life experience, and it is designed so that you walk on the edge of purely human emotions: joy, sadness, fear, disappointment, admiration. The production has elements of an immersive performance that involves the audience in the story.

Part of the funds earned at the concert will be directed to the support of the Ukrainian army and Ukrainian families affected by the war.

Ballet "Freedom" has played more than five thousand dance and theater performances during its career, as well as participated in the most important television projects in Ukraine and abroad. The collective has performed to great acclaim in more than 30 countries, starred in more than 50 projects by leading artists and collaborated with the legendary Cirque du Soleil, where they shared the stage with burlesque star Dita Von Teese.

There will be a musical and poetic performance - songs from Latvia, Lithuania, etc. dedicated to the era of Soviet modernism. Finalization of the exhibition of photographs of architectural heritage objects, as well as paintings of the Jūrmala coast. The program includes compositions and poetry that will help you feel the feelings of the "passing era". The author and organizer of the event is the popular Latvian director, actress, producer, Doctor of Arts Marija de Valukofa.

The organizers offer to talk about the "passing era", to remember how it was, how it began and how it disappeared forever. During the event, viewers will see architectural projects, hear about their past and present, about what failed. Hits of the 70s by D. Tuhmanova, M. Tariverdiyev and other authors, poetry by J. Yevtushenko, A. Voznesenska, G. Shpalikova, B. Ahmadulina will be played.

"Raiņa sēta" is a complex of wooden architectural buildings in Jūrmala, located in Jaundubulti, on Poruka prospect 61. One of the buildings is a summer house built by Rainis and Aspazija in 1904, which in its 115-year long life has met both the creative intelligentsia and Soviet pioneers. At the end of 2019, the restoration of the buildings was completed and the place got its second breath.

XXIII International Ballet Festival “Ballet Stars in Jūrmala”.

Every year, the festival offers the audience a versatile festival program with the participation of experienced, internationally recognized ballet artists, as well as with the performance of young and talented dancers. 23. Latvian and world ballet stars will participate in the international ballet festival.

At the moment, several international ballet stars have confirmed their participation in the 23rd Ballet Festival: Evelīna Godunova (Latvia) – Berlin State Ballet, Chinara Alizade (Poland) – Warsaw Bolshoi Theatre, Poland, Sandra Bourdais (France) and Maurus Gauthier (Switzerland) – Hanover Ballet, Margarita Fernandes and Antonio Casalinho (Portugal) – Bavarian State Ballet. Every Sunday at 12.00 from Jūrmala Tourist Information Center (Lienes iela 5, Majori) there is an opportunity to join an excursion around the center of Jurmala. The duration of the walking tour is approx. 1.5 hours, during which the participants will learn about the history of the resort town, see the most striking architectural monuments, and learn the secrets of Jomas Street. On 8th of August at “Baltic Beach Hotel & SPA” beach tent will be a unique show “Crocodile”, performed by mechanical theater "Tricktrek" from Estonia.

Every Sunday at 12.00 from Jūrmala Tourist Information Center (Lienes iela 5, Majori) there is an opportunity to join an excursion around the center of Jurmala. The duration of the walking tour is approx. 1.5 hours, during which the participants will learn about the history of the resort town, see the most striking architectural monuments, and learn the secrets of Jomas Street. This year festival organizers have decided to dedicate an entire concert to the winners of the Inessa Galante Talents competition. Listeners are more than welcome to come and see young & brilliant up-and-coming stars from Latvia. It is a prestigious opportunity for the talent competition winners to perform their solo acts on the big stage with amazing acoustics. The young performers will surprise and captivate the audience with their talent and mastery, making everyone proud of the artistic potential of the country. The concert a novelty will have its premiere at the festival organized for the best young talents to give them a sense of what it is like to perform on the big stage as a musician.

The main goals of the Inessa Galante Talents competition are to discover young talented performing artists and to activate the interest of children and young people in music and culture. The competition is famous for the fact that Inessa Galante is always looking for and finding bright personalities and talents that fill the stage with their presence. More than 70,000 votes are cast on the Internet platform every year for the public’s favorite performers. Up to 300 young talents participate in four categories at the competition each year. This facilitates the development of local musical talents and gives them the opportunity to gain recognition not only in Latvia but also abroad.

The concert will take place in the pavilion of the Island of Love – rotunda. The summer cafe  of rotunda  will continue to operate during the concert.

Flamenco is not folklore, flamenco is a modern and lively Arte which is being practiced by numerous gifted artists for whom this Arte is essential in their lives.

The single most astounding female dancer of is called Patricia Guerrero. She comes from the ALBAYZIN quarter in Granada. This is the gipsy quarter straight accross the ALHAMBRA and the quarter were all famous Flamencos from Granada come from. Her mother has a Flamenco-dance school there, so she dances there since she was 4 years old. Late 2010 she got a role in the new Carlos Saura movie “Flamenco, Flamenco”. Early 2011 she danced in the United States in the show “Flamenco Hoy” also by Carlos Saura. She performed at the main festivals in Spain already like Festival de Jerez, Festival de las Minas La Union, Bienal de Sevilla, etc.. She is a former winner of the “Desplante”Price at the Festival Cante de las Minas in La Union. Her dancing style can be described as gracious and elegant, with in addition a clear love for life and a remarkable emotionality. Patricia Guerrero is a remarkable young personality and above all a very talented flamenco dancer who faces a grand future without any doubt.

Every Sunday at 12.00 from Jūrmala Tourist Information Center (Lienes iela 5, Majori) there is an opportunity to join an excursion around the center of Jurmala. The duration of the walking tour is approx. 1.5 hours, during which the participants will learn about the history of the resort town, see the most striking architectural monuments, and learn the secrets of Jomas Street.  A varied festive program will be offered throughout the day on Tallinas Street and Kauguru Park: performances by Jūrmala's creative collectives, a market of artisans and homemakers, stations of the Riga Circus School, as well as a show of street motorcyclists, BMX athletes and break dancers. Everyone will be able to get involved in the Youth Day activities that will take place in Kauguru Park. In the evening, the hip-hopper Finķis, the group "Carnival Youth" and the incomparable musician Dons will take to the big festive stage. At the end of the festivities - a laser show.

Performances of creative groups, circus school stations and craft market:

at From 14:00 to 17:00 the creative collectives of Jūrmala will perform on the big festive stage on Tallinna Street during the Kauguru Festival - there will be dances, songs and a musical performance. Demonstrations of oriental martial arts can also be observed there.

at 14.00–18.00 Riga Circus School stations will be open on Tallinas Street, where you can learn juggling and walking on stilts, and a big bubble station will be in operation.

The artisans, design and homemakers' market, which will be open at 14.00–19.00, while out-of-town cafes will be open for visitors until 22.30

StuntFighters Motorcycle Stunt Show:

at 14.00–14.45 In a closed area on Tallinas Street, you can watch the "StuntFighters" show, where the festival visitors promise to be surprised by the masters of stunts - motorcyclists, demonstrating breathtaking stunts on Harley Davidson and other street motorcycles. Until At 17.00 you will be able to meet motorcyclists, take a closer look at the vehicles and take pictures.

Events of Youth Day in Kauguru Park:

at 13.00–18.00 Youth Day activities will take place in Kauguru Park, where festival visitors of different ages will be encouraged to try new things and learn new skills. The park will host a "Greentrials" BMX rider and breakdancer show, visitors will have the opportunity to participate in master classes. Street gymnasts will demonstrate their dexterity, while young DJs will show their skills in musical performances. A skateboarding and street basketball tournament will also take place in Kauguru Park during the festivities. The youngest participants of the festival will be able to test their strength by climbing the rock wall and have fun at the foam party.

Everyone is welcome on the open day at the Jūrmala Youth House and Youth Opportunities Quarter, where you can also learn about project programs for young people.

In the evening, at 18.00, on the stage in Tallinas street, fans of hip-hop culture will be delighted by the performance of Finkis and the accompanying group.

at At 7:15 p.m., the "Carnival Youth" music group will take the stage of the Kaugur festival, followed by the performance of the musician Don.

At the end of the festivities, at 22.50, a laser show will take place.

Visiting the festival is free of charge.

One of the brightest and most expressive violinists of his generation, ARA MALIKIAN, will perform. This musician’s artistic style of playing the violin, his rich musical experience and innovative approach have become a special brand in the world music scene.

Ara Malikyan’s concert at the Dzintari Concert Hall will take the audience through different musical styles, as the musician, known for his eclectic style, has included in his repertoire arrangements of works by a wide variety of musicians –  from David Bowie to Johann Sebastian Bach and Led Zeppelin, from Björk to Paganini. The violinist’s performance will be enriched and complemented by the “Royal Garage” group founded by him.
