Located between the church, the market and the Culture House, the "Knot" seems to "link" the intersection of everyday routes, becoming the visual centre of the landscaped square. The author of the idea has interpreted the shape of the knot as a symbol of unity, at the same time referring to the history of the Kauguri neighbourhood, when knot-tying was an important craft in this fishing village.
