Examinations at the center are performed with a new, modern, top-class magnetic resonance equipment “Siemens Healthineers” (Germany) MAGNETOM Altea 1.5T. The equipment is equipped with innovative artificial intelligence algorithms for examination planning, image creation, reconstruction and post-processing. It includes several unique programs that ensure the highest quality of examinations and patient comfort in accordance with Western European diagnostic standards.

The center performs:

● MRI examinations of the head, spine, musculoskeletal system, soft tissue, abdomen and pelvis (including prostate),

● MRI angiography,

● whole body magnetic resonance screening.

The examination conclusions are provided by leading Latvian radiologists: Dr. Sarmīte Dzelzīte, Dr. Evija Olmane, Dr. Kaspars Stepanovs, Dr. Līga Jaunozoliņa, Dr. Madara Mikijanska, Dr. Ilze Čerņavska, Dr. Jana Soļska, Dr. Ingūna Otisone and Dr. Linda Rancāne.

“Magnetic Resonance Center” (medical institution register code: 6202-00058) is located on the territory of Jurmala Hospital, at Vienības prospekt 19/21 (entrance from Bauskas street). The center was created by order of SIA “Vizuālā diagnostika” in a new, modern modular building, specially designed for the provision of magnetic resonance imaging services and meets the highest requirements for medical institutions.
