Movie ''The land which sings'' at Jurmala Culture Centre

It is early 1873. The Riga Latvian Society is in decline, the number of members is decreasing, there is a deep internal conflict. A decision is made to organise the first Latvian singing festival in just half a year, which would unite the Latvian people and strengthen the sense of community, as well as improve the society's not-so-bright financial situation. But not everyone in the RLB leadership is prepared to sacrifice themselves to make this possible.
