Beach volleyball posts are freely available on several Jūrmala beaches.
Lielupe and Bulduri: 36th Line, Stradiņa Street beach access, between 8th and 9th Line, 6th Line, between 1st and 2nd Line, Krišjāņa Barona Street beach access.
Dzintari: between Mālpils and Rūjienas Streets.
Dubulti: between Baznīcas and Parka Streets, at the end of Ogres Street.
Melluži: between Upes and Peldu Streets, between Rožu and Magoņu Streets.
Asari and Vaivari: from Zaru Street to Dzimtenes Street, between Rūsiņa and Birzes Streets.
Kauguri: from Brikšķu to Ganību Street, from Zvārtas to Draudzības Street.

Volleyball courts are also available at recreation areas:
Priedaine – Priedaine bathing area (access from the intersection of Upmalas, Zīlīšu and Skultes Streets)
Majori – Majori recreation area (at the end of Plūdu Street)
Dubulti – Dubulti recreation area (at the end of Dadžupes Street)

Additional information. Players need to bring their own ball and net. The Majori Beach Sports Centre (Emelīnas Street – Pūpolu Street, Majori) offers equipment rental and professional training and tournament courts.

Tournaments. Every summer professional tournaments take place on Majori Beach, making it one of the most popular beach volleyball venues in the Baltics. Since 2014, Jūrmala has regularly hosted international competitions – European and World Tour stages, including the Beach Volleyball “Futures” series.
