Bulduri Exhibition House was built in 1920 and embodies the essence of the best traditions of the construction of Jūrmala. The two exhibition halls and an outdoor area are completely devoted to art, innovative and creative processes – exhibition halls host art exhibitions and visitor engaging art actions, creating an art space as an important stop for anyone seeking a creativity. On the 2nd floor of the exhibition hall the visitors can explore the workroom and the paintings of the excellent master of the landscapes Valdis Bušs (1924 – 2014).

The exhibition of the painter Valdis Bušs "Beginning. 50"
The exhibition "Beginning. 50" by the painter Valdis Bušs is dedicated to commemorating the 50th anniversary of the artist's first solo exhibition.
This year we celebrate an important event in the artist's life - fifty years have passed since the first solo exhibition. In the fall of 1972, Valdis Bušs, a man in his mature years (48), exhibited his paintings for the public for the first time and anxiously awaited the opening of the exhibition at the Jurmala Museum of History and Art. The framing of the paintings has also been preserved and restored as it was then, in 1972.
