Visiting a Medical Institution in Jūrmala? No Entry Pass Required
If you are travelling to a medical institution in Jūrmala, you do not need to pay the Jūrmala entry fee. However, your vehicle must be registered in advance at epakalpojumi.jurmala.lv before entering the special fee zone.
The exemption applies both to patients and to persons transporting someone to receive medical services.
How to Register for Free Entry
- Register your vehicle before entering Jūrmala at epakalpojumi.jurmala.lv.
- Upon arrival, inform the reception desk of the medical institution that your visit needs to be confirmed.
- Once the institution confirms your appointment, the free-entry exemption is applied automatically.

- National Rehabilitation Centre Vaivari
- Pallas Clinic
- Social Integration State Agency (SIVA)

- Service Agency AG
Who Else Is Eligible for Free Entry?
Free entry is also available, subject to vehicle registration, for:
- persons with Category I disability;
- children with disabilities;
- persons with mobility impairments.
When Is an Entry Pass Not Required at All?
Some medical institutions are located outside Jūrmala’s special fee zone or can be reached without passing through it, for example via the bypass road or from the Ķemeri side. In such cases, neither an entry pass nor vehicle registration is required.
Important Information
The standard entry fee for Jūrmala’s special fee zone is EUR 5 per day. However, visitors travelling to receive medical services at the institutions listed above are exempt from the fee, provided the required registration procedure is completed.
