Haymaking Work Party at Sunset by Lake Kaņieris | Meža māja

On 7 August from 6.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m., a haymaking work party will take place near Meža māja at 1 Tūristu Street in Ķemeri, in the calcareous fen by Lake Kaņieris, where participants will help preserve and restore one of Latvia’s rarest plant habitats while enjoying a summer evening and sunset by the lake; advance registration is required at tiekamiesdaba.lv, and the event will conclude with a shared meal and informal conversations.
