School Choir Singing Festival “Tik dzintars vien” | Dzintari Concert Hall

On 11 June, Dzintari Concert Hall will be filled with the power of young voices – the school choir singing celebration “Tik dzintars vien” will bring together student choirs from Jūrmala and Riga for a warm and resonant evening in the spirit of the Latvian Song Celebration tradition. The concert will feature the Jūrmala State Gymnasium choirs “Sudrabs” and “Sudrabe”, Riga Secondary School No. 6 mixed choir “Saule”, Riga Secondary School No. 6 girls’ choir, the mixed choir and girls’ choir of Riga State Gymnasium No. 2, as well as the Riga Secondary School No. 6 wind orchestra for grades 7–9. “Tik dzintars vien” is intended as a new annual tradition, allowing young singers to meet, perform and experience choir singing as a lively, joyful and shared event also in the years between the major Latvian School Youth Song and Dance Celebrations.
