“ELIZABETE” is new, equipped with environmentally friendly engine, comfortable and safe ship, managed and serviced by a professional team.

A boat trip is provided on the route Riga–Jurmala (Majori)–Riga. During the trip, the Riga Passenger Port, Riga Freeport, Ķīpsala, Andrejsala, Kundziņsala, Mangaļsala, and Bolderāja can be seen. The route continues from the Daugava River past Love Island into Buļļupe, which connects the Lielupe and Daugava rivers. In Buļļupe, views include Bolderāja, natural reed landscapes, and a stone sculpture park. In the Lielupe, the historic river mouth into the sea, the White Dune, and the panorama of Jurmala are visible.

The ship can carry up to 40 passengers.

An exhibition in which artist Christian Brekte creates a visual dialogue with the works of Swiss symbolist Ferdinand Hodler (1853–1918), repainting their reproductions as a contemporary commentary on aesthetics, death and hidden anxiety.

Hodler’s sacred compositions become backgrounds for the grotesque, sexuality and post-symbolist drama – Brekte asks the question: what is the “holy hour” in a world dominated by chaos, deconstruction and fear of tomorrow? Ink strokes, occult references and symbols full of black irony turn the classic into a living and still provocative image.

The exhibition features items from the private collection of Armands Vijups, associate professor of the Department of Archaeology and History, Faculty of History and Philosophy, member of the State Heraldry Commission, archaeologist and numismatist, and the collection of the Jurmala Museum.

Fabias Nils Īle’s exhibition “Atmosphere.”
The exhibition explores memory as an environment, where past, present, and future are revealed through three objects:
“Portal,” “Cloud,” “Information.”

The upcoming textile artist's solo exhibition is a visual conversation about what often remains unexpressed – sadness, tenderness, joy, and inner struggle. The works reveal the emotionality and fragility of the material, which reveals the author's true need to create.

This exhibition, dedicated to the memory of Nikolajs Bulmanis, a well-known Latvian cultural critic and essayist, provides an insight into the work of Nikolajs and his wife Ingrīda, who devoted themselves to establishing and maintaining cultural ties between Latvia and Canada during their long years in exile and beyond. Their carefully curated art collection is currently owned by the family. It is kept by their sons Niks and Harolds, who live in Latvia, and their daughter Andra, who lives in Toronto. The exhibition is curated by Gundega Cēbere.

Liene Lintere is a student at the Sculpture Department of the Art Academy of Latvia (since 2021). Her works are melancholic, intuitive, and rooted in personal experience and emotions. She primarily works in sculpture, using foam, tin casts, and everyday objects, while also experimenting with painting, photography, and performance. She has participated in several group exhibitions in Latvia, as well as projects in Lithuania and Estonia.

The concept of the exhibition “Šļura” is a personal and emotional narrative about change, fear, fatigue, and the search for silence and peace, reflecting a balance between everyday chaos and creative self-expression.

The Compulsory program of the competition includes a 12-15 minute long a cappella performance of each participant. Each choir will have to perform:

Compulsory composition of the competition – “The Song of Innocence” by Arturs Maskats.
A piece from the Romantic era by choice.
A composition created after 2000 by own choice.
Folk song from the country of the participants’ choir, performed in unison.

On the traditional Craftsmen's Day, just like in ancient times, knots are tied, nets are mended, and fish are smoked in the fishermen's farm of the Jūrmala Open-Air Museum.

As part of the Free Choice Program of the competition, the choirs will perform an 8-10 minute long program of their choice, which must contain at least 2 pieces. No piece may be repeated from the Compulsory Program, but one piece may be played with accompaniment.

This year marks the 100th anniversary of Rainis’ poetry collection “Mēness meitiņa”. A dedicated programme combines poetry readings with rock music performed by youth rock bands.

Five finalists nominated for the Grand Prix after the results of the semi-finals of the Compulsory and Free Choice program will perform in the Grand Prix final of the competition. Each choir will perform a 10-12 minute program. The Grand Prix program requires 3 pieces, one piece may be repeated from the Compulsory Program or the Free Choice Program.

The Grand Prix final will be followed by a Closing concert by special guests vocal group FRAMEST and the Award Ceremony.

Ķemeri National Park is hosting Travelers' Days, offering exciting nature exploration activities. Visitors can take part in hikes, bike rides, bird watching and master classes, as well as enjoy nature concerts and educational exhibitions. The event invites you to enjoy the autumn landscapes and discover the secrets of nature together with experts.

The Nature Conservation Board invites you to visit the traditional Travelers' Days in the Ķemeri National Park. They will take place together with the European Autumn Bird Watching Days. The leitmotif of the event is "Nature tells the story - listen, learn, experience!", which invites you to go out into nature and get to know it in a variety of ways, including using smart devices.

The program will include popular and popular activities:

• exploring wild pasture territories on special trips with an off-road car and raft;
• Guided routes created by entrepreneurs of the Ķemeri National Park "Green Certificate";
• activities in a bird paradise - Lake Kaņieris
• Ķemeri National Park Nature Center, getting to know the range of nature learning activities;
• concert "Sounds of Lake Melnezers" with the group "Zāle".

About 200 traders from all over Latvia will welcome visitors to the Autumn Harvest Festival.

The program:

• will include home producers, craftsmen, plant growers, farms and antique collectors-traders;
• students and teachers of the floristry program will offer creative autumn master classes in the technical school premises;
• teachers of the Bulduri Technical School gardening program will provide valuable consultations on the works in the garden relevant to the autumn season;
• the greenhouses of the Bulduri Technical School will be open, where you can purchase home-grown plants, seedlings suitable for the season and cut flowers;
• information about opportunities to learn and take courses related to gardening and other current topics will be provided by the Adult Continuing Education Center “Bulduri”;
• Representatives of the Bulduri Biotechnology Center will answer questions about in vitro plant micropropagation, climate-controlled cultivation, soil and biomass analyses;
• an opportunity to get to know the profession of arborist - children and young people, accompanied by a professional arborist, following all safety rules, will be able to safely climb a tree to gain practical experience and understand the specifics of this specialty;
• autumn soup, prepared by students and teachers of the Bulduri Technical School catering program.
• thematic decorations and a photo corner where you can capture the magic of the holiday;
• etc. entertainment.

A photo-orienteering adventure in Ķemeri is offered as part of the Travelers' Days.

Starting point – Ķemeri Water Tower.

Each participant or team will be able to receive a photo sheet with objects at the Ķemeri Water Tower, as well as a map of the Ķemeri area with marked checkpoints.

Registration of answers at checkpoints takes place using the Latvian Orienteering Federation's mobile application QREvented, which can be downloaded from the Apple Store or Google Play Store.

Description:

A musical meeting and conversation about the life and work of Ludwig van Beethoven with pianist Andrejs Osokins and a screening of the film “Immortal Beloved” (1994). The Immortal Beloved is a 1994 biographical film written and directed by Bernard Rose, starring Gary Oldman, Jeroen Krabbé, Isabella Rossellini and Johanna ter Steege. The film tells about the life and death of the legendary Ludwig van Beethoven. Along with the music that Beethoven created, the composer once wrote a famous love letter to an unknown “beloved”, the film tries to find out who this mysterious woman was.

The event is suitable for high school students and adults.

The duration of the event is 2 hours 30 minutes.

The film will be shown in English with subtitles in Latvian.

Important information

Duration: approx. 3 hours

The best time: all year round, except for bad weather conditions.

The adventure will take place on the specific date if the group is complete (at least 6 people). Otherwise, the organizer will contact you and agree on another adventure date.

A musical meeting and conversation about the life and works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart together with pianist Vestards Šimkus, and a screening of the film “Amadeus” (1984). Amadeus is a 1984 American film directed by Miloš Forman. The author of the film script is Peter Shaffer, based on his 1979 play of the same name. The film is about Mozart and his rivalry with Antonio Salieri.

The event is suitable for high school students and adults.
The duration of the event is 3 hours 30 minutes.
The film will be shown in English with subtitles in Latvian.

On the anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of Latvia, the longest living fire in Latvia, “Path of Light”, is lit in Jūrmala. A string of 12,500 candles, 20 kilometers long, illuminates the city’s central highways from Priedaine to Ķemeri and Jomas Street, creating an atmosphere full of warmth and unity.

In addition to the “Path of Light”, Lāčplēsis Day and National Holiday events are held in Jūrmala – concerts, religious ceremonies and torchlight processions. The festive program is filled with musical performances, patriotic activities and a festive mood that unites in a common celebration of Latvia.
