Night Expedition for Children “Nestāsti pasaciņas” in Dzintari Forest Park

Do you believe that fairy tales come alive even in the dark? On August 16, from 19:00 to 23:00, Dzintari Forest Park will transform into a world of little witches, pink dreams, and alien adventures! A unique night expedition for children, “Nestāsti pasaciņas” (Don’t Tell Fairy Tales), will take place – with a witch school, music, dancing, lullaby recording studio, carousel, and even the world premiere of “The Town Musicians of Bremen”. Here, fairy tales are conjured not with words, but through movement, lights, games, and daring characters. Bring a flashlight and follow the path to the fairy tale!

At the mysterious gathering of little witches, children will learn dance steps and magic tricks, create their own broomstick in a special workshop, and spin around in the cheerful witches’ carousel. They’ll also have the chance to embark on a journey to the world’s longest witch’s broom and capture their magical transformations in the Witch Photo Salon.

During the evening, The Bremen Town Musicians will take the stage – Donkey, Dog, Cat, and Rooster – with a special event in store: the world premiere of the musical piece The Bremen Town Musicians! Children will be invited to join in games and contests, experience the fairy tale attraction “Dog on Donkey, Cat on Dog, and Rooster on Cat,” and record their favorite lullabies in the Lullaby Studio.

A sparklingly playful stop for everyone who loves bright colors and joyful vibes – “I Love Pink.” Visitors will enjoy a pink dance show, a talking parrot collection titled “Pink Mania,” and a special pink photo salon. Children can craft their own pink sunglasses, while sweet-tooths will delight in pink ice cream and cotton candy.

Step into the world of emotions at the stop “Princesses Without a Fairytale,” where the main characters are the Princesses of Joy, Anger, and Fear. Emotions can be explored through movement, sound, and sensation, including trying out an emotion meter. The evening will conclude with a special concert by popular singer Patrisha from 10:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
