On Saturday, 29 August, Kauguri will turn into a vibrant festival venue for the entire day, bringing together dance, street art, circus performances, sport, creative activities and live music. Events will take place on Tallinas Street and in the surrounding area, in Kauguri Park and on Kaugurciems Beach.

The festival will open at 12.00 with the Kauguri Grand Group Dance featuring 900 dancers, followed by the “Jūras bize” dance festival. Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy activities for families, dance and theatre performances, circus and acrobatics, the Jūrmala Talent Stage, a 3x3 basketball championship, the “LoudJurmala” car exhibition and a festival market.

The evening programme will feature Latvian actor and singer Maksims Busels with his band, Lithuanian singer-songwriter Daddy Was a Milkman, the playful Latvian pop band “Mazais princis” and award-winning Latvian hip-hop artist Fiņķis. At 22.50, the festival will culminate in a spectacular multimedia light show with DAGAMBA, a Latvian crossover ensemble known for blending classical music with rock, pop and world-music influences.

The festival opens with a large-scale folk dance performance bringing together 900 dancers. Visitors are invited to join the dancers for the finale.

Folk dance groups continue the festival with performances on the beach.

17.00 – Maksims Busels with band
Latvian actor and singer whose career spans theatre, film and music. He is a member of the Mikhail Chekhov Riga Russian Theatre and the winner of the 2025 Latvian Television music show “Pārdziedi mani!”.

18.30 – Daddy Was A Milkman (Lithuania)
Lithuanian singer-songwriter Ignas Pociūnas, known for melodic, emotionally driven songs. His breakthrough single “Breathe In” became a hit in both Lithuania and Latvia.

20.00 – “Mazais princis”
A Latvian band that describes itself as a “music recycling company”, giving familiar songs its own distinctive treatment and turning concerts into participatory sing-along experiences.

21.30 – Fiņķis
One of Latvia’s leading contemporary hip-hop artists, combining rap with an experimental sound that moves between indie hip-hop, disco and guitar-driven music. In 2026 he received four GAMMA music awards, including Solo Artist of the Year and Hip-Hop Artist of the Year.

22.50 – Multimedia light show with DAGAMBA
The festival finale combines a multimedia light show with a live performance by DAGAMBA, a Latvian crossover ensemble blending classical music with rock, pop and world-music influences.

Admission to the festival is free.

After the festival, an additional train will run from Sloka to Riga at 23.41, and additional Jūrmala city bus services will also be available. Significant traffic restrictions will be in place in Kauguri during preparations for and throughout the festival.

The event will be photographed and filmed. The resulting materials may be used for publicity purposes.

Kauguri is located outside Jūrmala’s special-regime zone; however, depending on the route you choose, you may pass through this zone when travelling to the event by car. Entry into the special-regime zone requires a daily pass costing EUR 5.00, valid until 23.59 on the respective date.
